Dr. Wasson
Dr. Wasson’s life pursuit is to research, classify and treat bacterial interfaces within the digestive tract. His goal is to identify and develop advanced treatments utilizing the body’s natural ability to heal itself. He is currently studying to discover the true cause of both metabolic syndrome and autoimmune diseases. Through his practice, Dr. Wasson has helped thousands of people with metabolic syndrome reduce and eliminate their need for pharmaceutical medications. He has done this by rebalancing the biochemical processes within their bodies. He believes that educating and empowering his patients is the key to quality care.
Dr. Wasson holds two Doctorate degrees, one in Chiropractic Care from Logan College in St. Louis, MO, and one in Naturopathy from the American Naturopathic Institute in Frisco, TX. Dr. Wasson completed his undergraduate degree with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from Regents College, and previously served in the US Paramilitary armed forces.
Dr. Wasson’s professional background includes the positions of an Associate Director for The American Red Cross in Springfield MO, and a Resident Clinician at the Harbor Light Clinic in Springfield, MO, prior to starting the Wasson Pain Clinic in Charleston, IL. In addition, he hosted a 52 series health segment on PBS (Health Wise). Dr. Wasson also served as the Chief Clinical and Operations Director for Elan Wellness Center at Rush- Copley Hospital before starting the Treatment Center for Metabolic Disorders.
Jen Morrison, APN
Jen is from a rural area west of Rockford, IL. She achieved her Bachelor’s of Science in nursing from Rockford College and her Master’s of Science in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Northern Illinois University. She has been working in healthcare since 1999 when she started as a CNA. Jen is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has practiced in family practice and retail care prior to her position here at TCMD.
