After the initial consultation and as a courtesy, TCMD will contact your insurance company to confirm your benefits. Once the TCMD billing department has your verification, if necessary, we will meet with you to review all of your benefits and go over your financial responsibility. This typically occurs during your second visit.
Verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment. Coverage is subject to review and determined by your insurance company. If you are not familiar with your insurance coverage, TCMD advises you to contact your insurance company prior to your first visit.
If you have BCBS:
We are in-network preferred providers for MOST BCBS PPO & EPO plans. If your BCBS plan is through a labor union please note: that not all labor unions cover our services.
Out-of-network coverage:
TCMD is considered an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies other than BCBS PPO & EPO plans. However, TCMD will try to honor as close to the in-network benefits as possible. If you are not familiar with your benefits, TCMD advises you to contact your insurance company to confirm the in and out-of-network benefits prior to your first appointment
If you do NOT have insurance, one of TCMD’s Billing Specialist will meet to review the payment options available.
