Diagnosis: What is the cause.

Diagnosis is used in many different disciplines, with slightly different implementations on the application of logic and experience to determine the cause and effect relationships.     http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diagnosis

We simply cannot believe that multiple health issues come from unrelated causes!  The body functions as a whole, therefore it is affected as a whole.  If an metabolic problem is causing weight gain, there must be other related symptoms, (see check list for other associated problems).

Blood testing can confirm these interrelated conditions and provide the foundation for effective treatment.

Here is a basic overview of how we evaluate each new patient....

We always begin our new patient evaluation with a question and answer screening. The screening is very effective in determining if a patient will or will not be a good candidate.  (screening questions are located in the "checklist" tab to the left).

Patients with metabolic disorders usually have various issues that directly relate to the weight gain.  Unfortunately, medically, these conditions have never evaluated as a whole.

For example:  Did you know each of the following  can be caused by the very same protein imbalance?
Weight gain--------Fatigue------Poor sleeping-----Constipation-----IBS-----Headaches

The following can be the result of poor liver function:
Weigh gain------Irregular blood sugar levels-----High blood pressure-----High cholesterol

Each of the issues noted on the "check list" form have interconnected metabolic relationships.
The more you have the higher your chances are of  having a metabolic disorder.
The average patient has between 3 to 6 interconnected issues.  The more secondary issues, the more advanced the metabolic disorder has become.
